Congratulations to Sara O’Beirne whose project entitled ‘Can Wind Turbine Blades be made more eco-friendly and cost efficient?‘ was awarded a Special Award, sponsored by Greencoat Renewables plc in the 2022 BT Young Scientist & Technology Awards ceremony on Friday 14th January.
Her Transition Year class enjoyed the special Watch Party and live awards ceremony with Sara and our other participant Niamh Cummins.
Well done to both on presenting fantastic projects and making the most of these extra opportunities that Transition Year provides.
