On 23rd September 2021, Auriel Robinson at Seatrails Sligo guided Transition Years on a hike up Knocknarea, capturing the geological, mythical and historical aspects of the mountain. At 327m high the cairn of Queen Maeve was reached, where we took in the views of Sligo, Strandhill and Coney Island as a picnic was enjoyed.
