Second Prizewinner in the First Year Christmas poetry was Laura Farrelly.
Robins are everywhere
flying through the frosty air
A distinctive little bird with
a bright red crest, sitting
on his nest for a short
quiet rest.
It’s that time of year when
everyone is as happy as Larry
The days are snowy and
the nights are starry.
People knocking on doors
happily Carol singing
and in the foggy mist
there are sleigh bells ringing.
Then suddenly around the corner charged four horses
with a neigh.
For they were pulling the
most beautiful bell-laden
Now Children let out an
almighty cheer,
For Christmas is already here!
We sympathise with Ms. Gallagher and family on the death of her brother in law – Mr. Morrison.
We offer sympathy to Mr. McHugh and family on the death of his uncle Thomas Kelly.  May they rest in peace
