The first years missed the All Ireland B semi-finals by a whisker on Sunday week last in Tullamore.
In their first game they played very competitively against Granard and lost by nine points.
Mohill then played Coláiste Iognáid Galway in a match they dominated and won by 25 points. In their last game against Coláiste Eoin Tullamore the boys showed exceptional aptitude and commitment winning by 3 points. Unfortunately to reach the semi-finals Mohill would need to have won by ten points. In the end Granard qualified. Great credit is due to the boys and Ms. Hargaden Ward, we acknowledge the work done by Mohill basketball club for the game in the area.
