We are delighted to share the news that Sara O’Beirne has won an international competition with her winning BT Young Scientist idea for sustainable wind turbines.
The competition is sponsored by Ardonagh Trust Bright Future. The ACT Bright Future Prize supports projects developed by teens with big dreams to make a difference in their communities.
The Bright Future Prize was launched in 2021 to fund the innovative ideas of the next generation of community leaders who are committed to driving positive change and inspiring others. Sara has won 1st Prize and is one of the four winners of the prize. Sara is to be awarded £10,000 to go towards her wind turbine project.
Congratulation to Sara on this unbelievable achievement, there really is no end to this girl’s talents and we here in Mohill Community College are extremely proud of Sara and in awe of her achievements.
