Geography Field Trip.
We welcome new and returning students to the new school year and hope they have a happy and fulfilling year.
In addition to Ms Travers, P.E teacher, who facilitates sports in the school on Mondays, all students have access to supervised indoor and outdoor soccer during lunchtime.
Ms.M. McGovern is working with students who are interested in singing. This activity also takes place during lunchtime.
Ms. McManus has initiated lunchtime debates with interested second year students.
We applaud all the students who sat Leaving and Junior Certificate exams this year. Results reflected the hard work and application of the students during their time in school.
We congratulate Mr. Duffy and his wife on the birth of their baby boy.
Parents/Guardians of new First year students have been issued with username and passwords to check on the details of their sons’ or daughters’ records on the school’s VSware programme. Details of absence from class, or school, term test results and signatures earned are available. All other parents/guardians were provided with this information last year.
The senior boys played St. Clare’s Manorhamilton away and lost by a point on a 2-16 to 2-17 score line. Mr Beirne is mentor to this team.
