Board of Management Agreed Report for the attention of Staff, Parents, Students:

    The Board of Management considered school’s  School Self-Evaluation Report 2016 – 2017.

    The Board reviewed the school year and the Board’s own work over the year.

    The Board examined Attendance Report and Suspensions Report.

    The Board wished all students every success in their forthcoming exams.

    The Board wished Mr. Michael Gannon and Mr. Raymond McHugh well in their retirements and thanked them for their years of generous service to education in Mohill.

Exam Fever.

We wish all our State Exam students well in the weeks ahead and hope their hard work will be rewarded.


We welcome Ms. Scollan and Ms. Dolan back from maternity leave and bid adieu to Mr. D. Duffy and Ms. McGirl, who deputised for them.

Brussels Trip.

The European Union “Committee of the Regions” Secondary Schools 2016 competition was held. Two pupils from Mohill Community College – Ezekiel Stevens and Lauren Keighran were chosen to represent the school at the EU parliament in Brussels, on June 14th, 15th and 16th along with their teacher Ms Maxwell.They will participate in a number of activities including delivering a ten minute presentation to the parliament, regarding how this area has benefited from EU.funding in the past and promoting ventures for funding in the future. They will get a tour of Brussels and meet with the local committee of the region member Enda Stenson.

We sympathise with Jennifer Andrews and family on the death of her uncle Steven Andrews. May he rest in peace.
