We congratulate Eabha Kenny who has qualified for the semi finals of this competition.
Boys Football
The U/16s played Boyle CS and drew the match.  Mr. Duffy is in charge of this group.
The First Year group played Coola under the guidance of Mr. Nolan.  Coola were the better team on the day.

Girls Basketball.
The U/16’s and U/19’s each played a double header in Sligo.  They both beat  St Attracta’s Tubbercurry and both lost to Mercy Sligo.  The U/19’s led Mercy all the way until two minutes from the hooter and were unlucky to lose by a two pointer.  Ms. McGovern is mentor to  both teams.
Boys Basketball.
The U/16’s  and U/19’s played St. Muredach’s  Ballina away and won both games.  Ms. Hargaden Ward is mentor to these teams.
Evening study.
Evening study (2 hours) commences again on November 10th.  Enquiries to the office.
Drop all and Read.
As part of the  national strategy to improve literacy first year students spend one class per week reading a novel.

Bereavements.
We sympathise with Cillian Beirne and family on the death of his granduncle, Jimmy Moran.
We offer sympathies to Ms. Dolan on the death of her grandmother in law – Mary Kilbane and to Marian Cunningham and  wider family circle on the death of  her brother Paul Wynne. May they rest in peace.
