This year Ezekiel Stevens, a Transition Year student, has qualified for the 2016 competition..
Student Teacher Soccer.
The pre Halloween  match ended on a 10 goal to 6 scoreline in favour of the teachers.  Credit to the students who scored six goals  Teachers involved were Mr. Beirne, Mr. D. Duffy, Mr. M. Duffy, Mr Nolan, Ms. Guckian, Ms Brennan, Ms. Foy, Mr. McHugh.
Ireland’s Fittest Family.
Student, Dearbhaile Beirne, and family took part in this televised competition and aquitted themselves very well, only to be knocked out by last years runners up.
U/14 Girls Football.
The girls had a good win over Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown at home.  In a high scoring game in which all substitutes were used Mohill won on a scoreline of
Mohill – 8 – 9   Strokestown   8 – 5.
Ms. Flanagan and Ms. Brennan are in charge of this group.
Transition Years.
The group attended the AGM of Comhairle na nOg in Carrick on Shannon recently.  They had discussions on their rights as teenagers and advice on wellbeing.  They also got food in the Bush Hotel.
Senior Boys Football.
Mr. M. Duffy accompanied the boys to Riverstown to play Coola V.S. – a great first half performance saw Mohill ahead by eight at half time and in the end they won on a scoreline of Mohill 5 – 9   Coola 4 – 10
Mohill Foróige.
Congratulations to the members and mentors of the local club who have recently awarded first place in a national competition sponsored by Aldi.
The winning project was based on a Mohill native, Matthew Sadlier – the only Mohill person to perish in the Titanic. The club set about raising funds locally to put in place a memorial bench placed at the bottom of the town and a commemorative plaque at his family home in Lough Rynn.
Current students who were involved are John Heslin, Josh Lupton, Gerry McCrann, Adam Kelly, Rebecca Bohan, Tara Copley, Danielle Mayo, Gavin Gordon, Muireann O’Kelly, Eira Gaffey, Olivia Mulkerrins, Eileen Canning.
Thanks to the local community for their support and the club leaders who promoted the project.  Congratulations to all concerned.
We sympathise with Ethan Kaolan, Evan, Sean and Emily Harkin and families on the death of their grandfather Pee.
We extend sympathy to Conor Gallagher and family on the death of his uncle, Muredach Gallagher.
We sympathise also with Ms. Scollan and family on the death of her father in law – Michael Moran.
We also extend sympathy to Ciara & Katie McKiernan and family on the death of their grandmother – Mrs Carmel Kealey.
Also to Colm McGovern on the death of his grandmother – Mrs. Bridget McGovern.
