Long Hot Summer
No arguments it has been a summer to remember and we welcome our students new and returning to the new academic year.

Congratulations
Well done to our students on their Junior and Leaving Cert results and we wish our past Leaving Cert students success in their Third Level studies. Most students were able to avail of their first choice college course in particular the seven students who broke the 500 point barrier.

School Mass
Preparations are taking place for the start of year mass which will be celebrated in a few weeks time..

Kon tiki Adventure Centre
All 23 Transition Years together with their coordinator, Ms. Hargaden-Ward went to Rooskey on their bonding trip. They had a very active day that encompassed archery, canoeing, team building exercises, obstacle courses and pier jumping. A great but somewhat exhausting day out.

Irish Times Higher Options Expo 2013
Ms. Reynolds and Ms. Hargaden-Ward accompanied Leaving Cert students to this careers exhibition at the RDS.

Bereavements
We sympathise with Liam Rowley on the death of his granduncle, Miko Rowley and his grandaunt, Pat Rowley.
We extend sympathy to Nicole Higgins on the death of her cousin, Gary Martin.

To Niamh and Claire Beirne on the death of their first cousin, Olivia Beirne.
To Ella and Olivia Mulkerrins, Cian and Caoimhe Wrynne, Nicole Higgins, Eimear Higgins on the death of their granduncle, Greg McNabola.
To Ciaran Gilmartin on the death of his grandmother.
To Aisling and James McNabola on the death of their grandaunt, Tess Cullen.

To Mollie and Hannah Keegan on the death of their grandmother, Mary Bridget Keegan.
