Second year girls basketball.

The girls have been granted a walkover and they now qualify for the North West finals. They will play either Mercy Sligo or Killybegs. Well done and good luck in the final. Ms Hargaden Ward coaches this group.
Tag Rugby.
Mr Cummins has introduced this for first years at lunchtime on the courts. He hopes to run a mini tournament when they have had sufficient practice..
Daffodil Day.
The TY group organised a Bake and Daffodil sale to fund raise for the charity. They invited the local active age group to the school on the day for tea and cake and it was enjoyed by all. Ms Reynolds initiated the events.
History Tour.
Mr Nolan and Ms Reynolds accompanied fifth and sixth year History students to Dublin. They went on a two hour guided walking tour starting at Trinity College and ending at the G.P.O. and taking in all the historical sites along the way.They then proceeded to Collins Barracks museum where they viewed the many exhibits.
Exam Fever.
The Leaving Cert orals begin this week in Irish, German and French, and we wish all of our students well in them.
Bereavements.
We sympathise with Katelyn and Cian Dockery and family on the passing of their grandmother Susan Lennon. We offer condolences to Ms Muldowney and family on the death of her brother in law Pat Muldowney and her aunt Josephine Amooty. May they rest in peace
